Daniel J. Kelly, Partner

Dan, a graduate of Carleton University’s Bachelor of Commerce program, obtained his designation while working at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1992. After leaving public accounting to work in industry as the controller and then chief financial officer of a mid-sized manufacturing company with subsidiary companies in the United States, Dan returned to public accounting in late 1999. In 2000, Dan acquired existing accounting practices in both Perth and Arnprior, Ontario and in 2002 opened a third office in Stittsville, Ontario, developing and growing the practice and team of professionals to what is now know as Kelly Huibers McNeely Professional Corporation (KHMPC).
Dan’s current focus area is business advisory for KHMPC clients including business ownership structures and restructures to facilitate a sale, an acquisition, succession planning or estate planning in general. A key aspect of Dan’s expertise relates to tax efficient strategies allowing income splitting strategies and access to multiple life time capital gains exemptions during the above noted advisory.
With a single digit handicap, Dan enjoys his golf and sits as a voluntary board member for a local private golf club.

Michelle E. Huibers, Partner

Since joining the firm in 2006, Michelle has provided consistent and hands-on services to KHMPC ’s not-for-profit and small-to-medium business clients. Michelle brings more than 30 years of accounting experience and expertise to her work at KHMPC. Michelle started her career in 1989; before joining KHMPC, she worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for 17 years after obtaining a B. Comm. from Carleton University.
Michelle is also very active with a variety of charities, providing financial and accounting expertise. Michelle grew up in the west Ottawa area in an entrepreneurial family and then, with her husband, raised 2 boys west of Stittsville. Now with the next generation, family continues to be her fun outside of work.

Ben McNeely, Partner
CPA CA
Ben joined KHMPC in 2002 to lead the commercial accounting and auditing software implementation to improve the efficiency and quality of audit and review engagements. Today, he brings decades of assurance experience, as well as corporate and personal taxation, to the benefit of his clients at KHMPC. Before joining KHMPC, Ben completed his articling requirements while working with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 1997 to 2002.
Ben lives in his hometown of Carleton Place and is a past member of the local BIA. You can find Ben after work hours playing hockey or golf, coaching his kids, travelling with family or supporting the local clients in Carleton Place.

Chris Stranberg, Partner
CPA CA
Chris joined KHMPC in January 2009 after a successful eight (8) years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, specializing in tax, specifically claims for SR&ED. He has continued to develop his tax expertise while assisting the corporate and personal clients.
Chris currently lives outside of Perth, where his 2 young boys keep him busy. With and without kids, Chris spends time on the lake fishing, on the golf course and in the arena for hockey.
Brandon Bowes, Partner
CPA CA
Brandon obtained his CA designation in 2008 after joining PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 2005. During his twelve year career with PwC, Brandon specialized as an auditor in the private and not-for-profit sectors. In addition, Brandon was a member of PwC’s National Instructors for Audit Methodology and Continuing Education and also served as a member of PwC’s National Internal Quality Review Team. Brandon then joined KHM in 2017 to continue providing assurance and taxation services to a similar client base.
When not at work, Brandon's 3 boys keep him active in the Stittsville community with soccer and hockey. He is also a recent past Treasurer of the Stittsville Business Association, having served in the role 2019-2023.
